New Critical Infrastructure Investments
It is now November and WOW!!!
A very grateful Thanksgiving. Being trusted with hundreds of millions in critical infrastructure across the country is a serious business requiring competency, responsiveness and capability.
In just three months, we have added new critical infrastructure investments with:
Lake Charles LA, County of Hawaii, County of Maui, Oahu Dept of Transportation, HI State Energy Office, HI Dept of Accounting and General Services, Baton Rouge Police Department, LA Capital Area Ground Water Conservation District, Jacksonville University FL, Jackson MS, LSU, Scott LA, and by more by year-end.
Customers even produced videos of their projects such as Jackson MS and Hawaii DOT.
This growth is due to the amazing and growing SP staff in NY, HI, LA, and AZ. Each is completely dedicated to our customers becoming “Raving Fans” in having trusted their essential infrastructure to an SP partnership. Our culture of extreme ownership and ideal team players is making all the difference.
Some of these customers are small and financially troubled, many are large AA rated and financially rock solid entities. SP being their choice is independent of financial strength. They are having us design, procure, fund and maintain their waste treatment, drinking water, rail, renewables, EV charging, transit buses, police fleets, roofs, boilers, LED lights, and athletic fields.
As impressive as this is, with a US $4 trillion dollar infrastructure problem (4,000 billion), our reaching the $1B mark and being the nations largest doesn’t move the needle. We must scale to be meaningful. With our customers, our staff, and our friends (YOU) as raving fans, we will scale and make a difference.
Lake Charles is a growing city (80,000 pop) in southwest Louisiana (AA Credit). Downtown, the Mardi Gras Museum explores the history of the iconic festival through colorful costumes. The 1911 Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center features traveling exhibitions and local art. Nearby, the giant, centuries-old Sallier Oak tree stands on the grounds of the Imperial Calcasieu Museum, a visual arts center. The city also has several large casinos.
Jackson (160,000 pop) is the capital city of Mississippi. The statewide Mississippi Freedom Trail runs through the city, encompassing a number of historic sites that were significant in the civil rights movement. These include the Medgar Evers Home Museum and the landmark Mississippi State Capitol building. In leafy LeFleur’s Bluff State Park, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science includes an aquarium and nature trails.
Honolulu (350,000 pop) on the island of Oahu’s south shore, is capital of Hawaii and gateway to the U.S. island chain. The Waikiki neighborhood is its center for dining, nightlife and shopping, famed for its iconic crescent beach backed by palms and high-rise hotels, with volcanic Diamond Head crater looming in the distance. Sites relating to the World War II attack on Pearl Harbor include the USS Arizona Memorial.
